The Wedding!

My aunt Jilly got married this summer to Eric Sharp. It was an amazing weekend and we all had so much fun. I wore a tuxedo and came down the aisle in my John Deere wagon from Grandpa Al & Grandma Neese. Here I am helping open presents after the wedding. I think I'm going to hate this picture in a few years !Aunt Jilly and Eric at the reception!

At the rehearsal practicing my ride down in the wagon.
It is waaaay past my bedtime.

Isn't she lovely? I just love Aunt Jilly!

I wonder where my bowtie is?

Halloween is Just Around the Corner

It's hard to believe that Halloween is less than two months away. Not only does that mean I'm almost one, it also means that I get to dress up in my very first Halloween costume. Grandma Neese is going to make me a costume this year and I need your help! My indecisive mom can't decide what I should dress up as so that's where you come in. Please check out the pictures from the pattern and then vote on the poll. I really love monkeys but my favorite costumes are the lion and the elephant. What do you think?

A Sunday Drive

Well Mom and Dad have not done a very good job keeping up on the blog this summer but they're going to start doing a better job with it...starting with a blog from this weekend. Stay tuned for pictures from throughout the summer in the coming weeks.

This past weekend Aunt Jilly and Uncle Eric were in Chicago for a friend's wedding. Before they flew back on Sunday, we all decided to make a little day trip down to Chicago to see them. Grandma Neese & Grandpa Al joined us too! We met up at the hotel, walked around Millenium Park and then trekked down Michigan Avenue to this great restaurant that was right on the Chicago River for brunch.
Jilly and Mommy hold my hand even though I do know how to walk. They were afraid I'd crawl right into the water though! Good thinking.
Seeing my reflection in the Bean!
I love Chicago!
I love the view from Daddy's shoulders!

First Steps

I know, long time no hear... It's been a busy summer, hopefully I will have time to catch everyone up at some point. I just wanted to fill you in on my BIG NEWS. Last night I took my first steps. That's right, I was standing in the middle of the kitchen, and I wanted to be over by Mommy and Daddy, so I just stared walking over there. I took about three or four steps, and then I sat down and went back to crawling. They were both really excited, I don't know what the big deal was. I am looking forward to this walking thing, I think it will open up a whole new world of things I can get into...

I'm a Maniac

I have been so busy crawling all over the place that I don't have much time to sit still and blog anymore. Call me what you want--a crawling machine, a monster. Mom and Dad think I am a maniac! I am all over the place and I can even pull myself to a stand. I don't think they had any idea I would be doing that already, but I am. I use whatever I can, the ottoman, the stairs, Mommy's hair, Dad's legs, a laundry basket, Chaz, the bathtub (I even got both feet off the floor and tried to crawl into the tub). They have no idea what they're in for. There's so much more to come! Stay tuned for some recent pictures, including a photo montage of my obsession with electrical cords.

Well I Guess it's Offical

On May 20th, I crawled about 5 feet to try to get to Chaz, then I made a diving attempt to grab her paws. When I fell just inches short, she looked at me and then got up and walked away, maybe next time. I guess you can determine your status in the poll based on your own set of rules. It depends if you are playing Bob Barker rules or not (closest to the actual retail price without going over). There's no stopping me now, so look out world (or at least Chaz) here I come.
